Work Completed Today: Had inspection on tunnel #1 invert. Everything Good. M. El Hani from SOCOTEC told me we would have to have some complete expansion joints in the tunnels. Mr. Fez and the surveyors were out again. Said our collection tunnel was okay, but not exactly the correct elevation because we were using an incorrect benchmark elevation. We will pour all tunnel floors as high to stay consistent.
Did you talk to office/project manager today?: Yes
Owner Engineer directives provided: Expansion joint in all tunnels complete break including rebar, concrete, and steel lock. They want a detail from ES2.
Visitors: Mr. Chafiq, M. El Hani, Mr. Fez
