Work Completed Today: Tied steel in collection pit walls. Started excavation on tunnel #2.
Poured mud slab for tunnel #1.
Owner/Engineer directives provided: Robert and Doug confirmed go ahead on tunnels #1 & #3.
Other Notes of Interest/visitors: Mr. Chafiq said he would talk to Betomar about concrete price. He gave us the go ahead on tunnels 1 & 3.
Without a forklift, we hand carry the bar to the tunnels.
A daily occurance is men, young and old, coming by the site to ask for a job. The most we had was around 30 in one day. Now it has slowed down to 3 -5 a day. We will have several stand outside the fence surrounding the excavation and just watch us.
